I have never heard the phrase sweater scarves before but of course I've seen people wearing sweaters around their necks as scarves - and I've probably done it myself. In this game it's clearly not just a way to bring a sweater with you in case you get cold, it is a fashion statement - and a way to use old sweaters that don't fit anymore!
